Founded by Colonel Harland Sanders in Utah, KFC has grown a lot since its inception in 1952.
The Colonel had a keen marketing mind, and was able to use his name and image to brand himself as one of the most popular fast-food restaurant cartoons today, “Colonel Sanders”.
KFC’s specialty is its pressure fried chicken garnished with the Colonels’ secret 11 spices.
The chain has been through a lot, with performance dipping in the 1970s and 80s as leadership changed in a negative way.
In the 1970s, Heublin, an alcohol seller, purchased the chain.
Pepsi eventually bought the chain and made it the first Western restaurant to open in China in 1987, where it still exists and is popular today. This is why Pepsi is served in most KFC restaurants.
KFC is the king of Kentucky Fried Chicken, or just fried chicken in general.
With over 20,000 locations in over 120 countries worldwide, this chicken empire isn’t going away anytime soon.
KFC has been extremely successful, and is the second largest restaurant chain in the whole world, only behind McDonalds.

This was the second time in a row where I would have had to wait 20 min for grilled. Unacceptable

I tried 3 times. It wouldn’t accept my numbers or date. Weird.

Went to new kfc in raunds , food was cold not good.

Had to wait 15 minutes for one chicken pot pie. Also the window drive up had no change. Second time poor service.
Ate at KFC Moorhead Mn on 8th st SoTerriblly rude employees Salad bar no lettuce. Purchased four buffets had to ask them to put chicken out. Not returning survey code wouldn’t work.not the same KFC as we knew.
I had the $5 pot pie fill up. It was very delicious and filling great service very satisfying.

The grill chicken is too small, look like a very young chic.
Very disappointed, ordered the 2 pc white meat, extra crispy, it was so greasy I couldn’t eat it all.
I just but chicken from KFC in orangeburg, well I ate it, but if i wanted regular fried chicken I could’ve cooked it at home, but all 3 pieces were not the colonels chicken

YOUR SURVEYS FOR A FREE CHICKEN SANDWICH ARE NOT WORKING. I WAS AT KFC ON 4/18. I TRIED THE SURVEY TODAY AND IT CAME UP AS EXPIRED. IF THE SURVEYS FOR THE FREE SANDWICH ARE NO LONGER VALID, YOU SHOULD SAY SO. WASTING MY TIME DOING THEM IS NOT GOOD BUSINESS.
Long wait line to order. Long wait for food. Not enough employees. Seem to be serving drive through above inside restaurant.
I ordered chicken from kfc restaurant first service poor second chicken pieces dropped on floor but cashier mess with shoes but don’t want pick from floor so anyways when I open my order to eat OH my god chicken was bad smell pieces was black in side looks shitty so never buy again in my life also tell my family don’t buy too
I have never been so dissatisfied with KFC in all my life.What I ordered taste like it had been sitting in the warmer all day. The chicken was dried out and the potato wedges were bitter and dried out. What I ordered they didn’t have cooked in my style and I had to settle for what they had. The only thing that tasted like it supposed to was the biscuit.I want visit that resturant again. I suspect the manager would not have eaten the food I was served, thats how bad it was….. I love kfc in Oak Park, they have the best chicken, the best employees and the manager Debra is so awesome, We love this kfc so much we pass at least 5 to go there.

The cashier was Dawn (not Claire which was on the receipt). Dawn is so pleasant. She has such a sweet smile and wonderful disposition.
WHAT has happened to KFC???? We could always depend on KFC for top quality chicken like Col. Sanders made when he began his business. We ate there several times many years ago when travelling, and were never disappointed. The only menu item that pretty much measures up is the pot pie. Even some of them have very little chicken. I had a 2pc. meal Jan. 10, 2020 at the 503 N. New Hope Rd. & I 85 store, and it was awful. Chicken tasted like it was cooked in fatty oil from a ham. Slaw was dry and the biscuit was not fresh. I hear similar complaints from so many people about most all KFC stores. Kings Mtn. NC store has never been good. We want top quality back. The BEST store is Asheville NC at I 40 & I 240. It had a fantastic manager and quality was great. Sadly it was closed for a remodel when I was there recently. I will try it again next time I’m in Asheville. The free sandwich offer site is not working and neither is the contact phone number. The free site finally did say my receipt was out of date. Receipt date 1-19-2020, and today is 1-14-2020. I would like a response please.
