  1. Purchased a battery from store 04310 on Sept. 24 2018 worked fine till 10-2-18 would not start Had someone test the battery & showed it was weak . Took battery out & took back they ran test showed battery needed recharge didn’t have time to wait . Wouldn’t give me a new battery or refund money was told Because the battery had been installed, They were the ones that installed it to begin with . Guy told me would have to talk to manager tomorrow & I asked was there one there then told me he was the manager but had to talk to the one tomorrow. Told him I needed my car about going to work told me to drive the car there & they could check it . If The car would have started to begin with don’t u think I wouldn’t have drove it there . Told him I pd $172.73 for that battery ! Now I am really disappointed in the way this situation was handled & If I don’t get a New battery I will NEVER BUY ANYTHING from them again . I have a job that I have to be too & if he was a manager why do I have to talk to another one . Sounds to me like you are trying to beat me out of a battery !

  3. Trying to even get started on taking the free gas for a year survey is a joke !! I’ll just buy my own ! And google needs to clear out the expired surveys !

  4. I agree with Scott J above. The survey process is so messed up. You don’t have to download all that junk above to do the survey, but you have to use a magnifying glass to find the other option. Wonder what kick back this company gets from using this survey site.

  5. I recently made a purchase at advance auto parts in Bowling Green, ky. At checkout the sales associate told me my purchase qualified for a 10.00 mail in rebate .I sent all the necessary information in ,they told me it would be 6 to 8 weeks to receive the rebate . When I got my rebate in the form of a gift card it was 2.50 . Very disappointed it plainly said on the receipt the purchase qualified for 10.00 . I think I have made my last purchase at Advance auto parts .

  6. I had a bad experience with Advance Auto Parts in Lafayette, Louisiana ( 100 Inez Lane)
    I purchase a set of break pads, one set was wrong. I tried to return them at a Advance auto part closet to my home, with a recite & they told I need to go back to the store where I purchase them. I will not do Beninese’s with Advance Auto parts no time soon.

    I never gotclose to putti g the code in from my sales receipt.
    There was more survey crap then I cared to answer. Your survey seems to be a SCAM !!!

  8. I bought a new battery 4/2017 from store# 06752. I had to replace it while out of town on 3/2019. I brought it back to same location, was told it was still under warranty(3 year warranty). Then was told i had no more warranty because it was a warrantied. I asked why i wouldn’t still have a year left on the warranty, and was told ” ok you still got a year left, in not a nice tone. Your employee rings up paper work and sets two reciepts in front on me and says nothing. I ask what i should do and then was told to sign one of them and the other one was my reciept. So i sign the one he picks it up and walks off. No thank you ,no is there anything else I can do for you, nothing. The first employee was polite and spoke well as i could understand what he was saying and he handled everything the way a customer would expect and appreciate . I didnt get his name but he had a sprained ankle. The second employee mumbled everything at me and was difficult to understand, as it seemed he couldn’t care less . I used to shop at this store often, it was always my first one to call or go to for help. You do know its customer service first and formost when it comes to dealing with the public. Some of us are willing to drive a little farther and even pay a little more to be treated like the person you are handing your money to gives a crap. Kind of like the waitress that gets a bigger tip for doing a better job. The only number on my reciept is the TRN# 9219. I am self employed and work only from referrals, and always have new work and new customers. Rick Colvin

  9. Was able to get a Battery from Advance Auto Parts in Pooler, GA on 7/9/19. Sales person was extremely helpful, went out of his way to help me. It was a Replacement for one I purchased in 2017. I highly recommend this place and also the gentlemen that help me. His name John C. Thanks, for your service.

  10. This is a great advance auto parts store to shop in .They have everything you need. The salemen or sale ladies are very friendly and helpful to their customers. I love to shop here.

  11. I visit advanced a good bit, I maintain my 4 vehicles myself. I am used to the rude service from the jefferson Georgia store,but tonight they took it up a notch! Both guys there (james and didier) were real a$$holes!! I walked in and said “hows it going” as I always do,no response they just stared at me (the Only customer). I had to repeat my self just to get a nod. These are the kind of people that should be in the back of fast food chain AWAY from customers. I had several questions about my brake system but they had no time for me, after I return the wrong part they gave me I will definitely Not go back!

ADVANCE AUTO PARTS #6889 GARDNER, Ma – I pretty much know for a fact that this store re-shelves defective parts that the neighboring Meineke returns to them and sells them to unsuspecting consumers like me. It cost me some bucks to have that very same Meineke garage diagnose the problem and fix it.
